About The Position
The R.N. Circulator assesses patients before surgery, prepares and maintains the operating room, and supports surgeons during procedures. The role monitors patients’ vital signs, evaluates them postoperatively, and ensures charts are complete in accordance with documentation protocols before and after surgery. The position follows relevant health and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ conditions before surgery.
- Prepare the operating room with necessary supplies, implants, instrumentation, and equipment.
- Keep the operating room sterilized.
- Pass medical instruments to surgeons during operations.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs.
- Evaluate postoperative patients.
- Review charts for completeness in accordance with documentation protocols before and after surgical procedures.
- Adhere to relevant health and safety standards.
