2027 R&D PCG Summer Internship- Bowling Green, KY
About The Position
This is a comprehensive 12-week internship in the Performance Coatings Group R&D Division. Interns are assigned to a specific laboratory and mentor, participate in a project team, and complete a technical project that they present at the end of the assignment. Periodic reviews evaluate their performance. The program also includes networking and learning events and opportunities to gain experience in work groups alongside other interns and co-ops. The position is based at 347 Central Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42101, and supports the R&D Performance Coatings Group. The internship starts May 24, 2027. Hires must complete a background check before starting.
Requirements
- Be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) during the internship.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without current or future employment visa sponsorship.
- Be willing to work up to 40 hours per week for 12 weeks, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.8.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a Sherwin-Williams research and development internship or co-op program.
- Be a rising or current sophomore, junior, or senior at a college or university when the internship begins.
