2027 R&D PCG Summer Internship- Bowling Green, KY
About The Position
This is a comprehensive 12-week learning experience in the Performance Coatings Group (PCG) Research and Development (R&D) Division. Interns are assigned to a specific laboratory and provided with a mentor. They participate actively on a project team, complete a technical project, and present it at the end of the assignment. Periodic performance reviews and special networking and learning events are part of the program. The internship provides experience working in groups and with other interns and co-ops. The position supports the R&D Performance Coatings Group at 347 Central Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42101. It starts May 24, 2027. Hires must complete a background check before starting.
Requirements
- Be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) at the time of the internship.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Be willing to work up to 40 hours per week for 12 weeks, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.8.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a Sherwin-Williams R&D internship or co-op program.
- Be a rising or current sophomore, junior, or senior at a college or university when the internship begins.
