About The Position

As a Quotations Specialist, you will manage the quotations process from receiving a request through submitting the quote to the customer. You will communicate with Graybar sales representatives, customer service representatives, customers, and manufacturer representatives to gather the information needed to prepare quotations. You will learn Graybar’s product lines, pricing mechanics, and computer systems to create quotations that support profitable sales.

Requirements

• Customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of SAP and ability to work with Excel formulas.
• High school education.

Nice To Haves

• Four or more years of experience preferred.
• Four-year degree in Business or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates of material.
• Contact factories and representatives to obtain cost information.
• Collaborate with sales representatives and customer service representatives.
• Build relationships with customers and suppliers to provide timely and accurate quotations.
• Compare manufacturers’ bills of material to identify and price differences for complete comparisons.
