About The Position

Under the general supervision of the Sr. Sewing Supervisor, the Quilting Machine Operator operates the quilting machine in accordance with established work, quality, and safety procedures. The role involves setting up batting, fabric, and thread, monitoring the quilting process, and correcting flawed areas. The operator follows vendor recommendations for equipment operation and maintenance and notifies the supervisor of product or procedural problems and concerns.

The position also includes assisting other personnel as time and knowledge permit, helping unload the China truck, participating in training and meetings as requested, and performing other assigned duties. On-the-job training is provided. Employees are responsible and authorized to help ensure first-quality products that meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities
