About The Position

The Quick Lube Technician is responsible for performing routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, tire balancing, filter changes, and battery testing. This role ensures customer vehicles are returned in excellent condition, maintaining their cleanliness and appearance. The technician will also be responsible for keeping the shop area clean and organized, operating tools and equipment safely, and reporting any safety issues. Additionally, the technician is expected to participate in manufacturer-sponsored training to stay updated on new technologies and practices. Any repairs or maintenance beyond the scope of quick lube services will be redirected to the main shop.

Requirements

Previous Experience Highly Preferred
Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
Must be at least eighteen years of age
Must have a valid driver's license
Must have basic tools

Responsibilities

Perform oil changes, tire rotations, tire balancing, filter changes, and battery testing.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
Redirect any needed repairs or maintenance items not listed above to the main shop for completion by flat-rate technicians.
Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle.
Ensure that customer vehicles are returned in the same condition or better than when brought in.
Ensure that customers' cars are kept clean.
Notify service advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.
Check tire pressure and add air if needed.
Keep the shop area neat and clean.
Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
Report any safety-related issues immediately to management.
Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training, programs, and schools.
Continuously expand knowledge of new technologies and practice.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
