About The Position

The Quick Lube Technician performs express lube duties on vehicles. The role includes completing oil and filter changes, lubricating specified vehicle joints, checking and replenishing fluid levels, and ensuring vehicles are clean and ready for release. The technician reports needed repairs to the service advisor and maintains an organized, clean, and safe work area while following company policies and applicable safety rules.

Prior experience as a lube technician is preferred.

Responsibilities

Adhere to express lube guidelines.
Perform lube, oil, and filter changes by draining and replacing oil and filters, and lubricate joints including idler arm steering knuckles, tie rod ends, and ball joints.
Report necessary repairs to the service advisor.
Install a completed LOF reminder sticker in the vehicle.
Check battery, tire air pressure, windshield fluid, transmission fluid, and power steering fluid levels, and refill as needed.
Check coolant level and refill as necessary.
Ensure the vehicle is clean and free of fluid residue or fingerprints.
Check fluid levels before releasing the vehicle to ensure they are proper.
Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
Accurately record all hours worked in the company timekeeping system.
Follow Safeguards rules and regulations.
Comply with company policies and procedures.
Observe all applicable Federal, State, Local, and Company safety rules and regulations while performing duties.
Perform other duties as assigned.
