About The Position

This is a part-time position focused on performing essential maintenance services for customer vehicles. The role involves tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and battery testing. The technician will also conduct routine vehicle inspections and ensure vehicles are returned to customers in excellent condition, maintaining cleanliness and promptly reporting any changes in vehicle appearance or condition. Safety and continuous learning are emphasized.

Requirements

Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.
Must be at least eighteen years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must have basic tools.

Responsibilities

Perform oil changes, tire rotations, tire balancing, filter changes, and battery testing.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
Redirect any needed repairs or maintenance items not listed above to the main shop for completion by flat-rate technicians.
Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle.
Ensure that customer vehicles are returned in the same condition or better than when brought in.
Ensure that customers' cars are kept clean.
Notify service advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.
Check tire pressure and add air if needed.
Keep the shop area neat and clean.
Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
Report any safety-related issues immediately to management.
Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training, programs, and schools.
Continuously expand knowledge of new technologies and practice.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
