This role involves lubricating the moving parts of vehicles. The technician will train with an experienced technician for 30 to 60 days, with all work verified by the experienced technician. The technician will perform work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, adhering to dealership and factory standards. Responsibilities include selling lubrication, safety inspection, and other related services, as well as maintaining customer records. The job requires keeping the shop area neat and clean, maintaining dealership-owned tools and manuals, and complying with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know. Safety is paramount, requiring proper protective gear and safe operation of all tools and equipment. Participation in manufacturer-sponsored training programs is expected.
