About The Position
Swenson Granite, a company of Polycor Group, is seeking hard-working, positive team players for General Quarry Worker positions at their Woodbury, VT location. This is a year-round outdoor job involving the extraction of granite from the quarry.
Requirements
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Must be willing to work overtime, if required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Being comfortable with heights.
- Lift and/or move over 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- No experience necessary.
- Any experience deemed equivalent will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Operate drilling equipment.
- Operate saws to cut large blocks of granite from the open pit quarry.
- Follow policies and procedures to assure quality work.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Work safely, according to guidelines and training, to prevent possible injuries to self and others.
- Perform additional duties as required.
