About The Position

This role involves inspecting, maintaining, and repairing equipment, machinery, and systems within a quarry environment. The Quarry Repairman will operate heavy equipment as needed, maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repairs, and monitor and adjust production processes. Key responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and diagnosing and fixing mechanical problems efficiently. The position also requires maintaining quarry organization and communicating effectively with team members to ensure a smooth workflow. The ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints is essential.

Requirements

• Experienced fixed plant mechanic, certified welder, understands crushing/screening/power transmission.
• 2+ years’ experience in a Rock Quarry Plant preferred.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Attention to detail.
• The ability to work well in a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols

Nice To Haves

• Previous MSHA training is a plus.
