About The Position

Vulcan Materials Company is hiring a Quarry Operations Intern for Summer 2027. The internship introduces the intern to the construction aggregates industry, the materials the company sells, its sales methodology and territory management, the day-to-day work of multiple departments, and the importance of collaboration. Interns receive hands-on training in a company department, with instruction in safety, health, and excellence. They gain exposure to career paths across the company and explore how their strengths and interests may align with different departments.

• Must demonstrate a strong commitment to ethical decision-making and integrity.
• Must be an excellent motivator and team builder.
• Must be able to build strong social relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external audiences.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in an industrial environment is preferred.
• Prior experience related to aggregate mining operations is preferred.
