About The Position

Vulcan Materials Company is hiring a Quarry Operations Intern for Summer 2027. The internship offers hands-on training across company departments and an opportunity to learn about the construction materials industry, the materials Vulcan sells, its sales methodology, territory management, and the day-to-day work of different departments. Interns gain exposure to career paths including sales, operations, engineering, and equipment operations, and can explore how their strengths and interests align with different departments. The program emphasizes safety, health, excellence, and collaboration, with the possibility of transitioning into a suitable role after successful completion of the program. Vulcan Materials Company is the nation’s largest producer of construction aggregates and a major producer of aggregates-based construction materials, including asphalt and ready-mixed concrete. Nice To Haves
