Quarry Operations Intern
About The Position
The Quarry Operations Intern is a summer 2027 internship with Vulcan Materials Company. The program introduces interns to the construction aggregates industry, the materials the company sells, sales methodology, territory management, daily work across departments, and the importance of collaboration. Interns receive hands-on training in a company department, with instruction in safety, health, and excellence, and exposure to career paths across operations, sales, engineering, equipment operation, and other areas. Upon successful completion, interns may transition into a role suited to their talents and interests. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Display a strong commitment to ethical decision-making and integrity.
- Be an excellent motivator and team builder.
- Form strong social relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external audiences.

- Experience working in an industrial environment.
- Prior experience tied to aggregate mining operations.
