Quarry Maintenance Worker - 2nd Shift
About The Position
RiverStone Group, Inc. is seeking a 2nd shift Quarry Maintenance Worker for their Allied plant in Milan, IL. The role involves assisting in quarry operations, operating and maintaining heavy machinery, performing repairs and fabrication on rock crushing equipment, and adhering to company policies and governmental regulations. The schedule is 5 to 6 days per week, starting at 3:30 pm, with availability for overtime as needed. Candidates must be dependable and able to perform heavy lifting and rigorous physical activity in all weather conditions. Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background checks are required, along with random drug screens throughout employment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- A focus on safety and a strong work ethic
- Experience operating and maintaining Heavy Equipment
- A strong mechanical aptitude
- A valid driver's license
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and rigorous physical activity in all weather conditions
Nice To Haves
- A background in quarry operations is preferred
- Proficiency in fabrication and welding is preferred
