Quarry Maintenance Worker - 2nd Shift
About The Position
RiverStone Group, Inc. is seeking a 2nd shift Quarry Maintenance Worker for its Allied plant in Milan, IL. This role involves assisting in all aspects of quarry operations, operating and maintaining heavy machinery, and performing repairs and fabrication on rock crushing equipment. The position requires a strong focus on safety, a solid work ethic, and the ability to perform heavy lifting and rigorous physical activity in various weather conditions. The schedule is 5 to 6 days per week, starting at 3:30 pm, with availability for overtime as needed. Pre-employment screenings including a drug test, physical, and background check are required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- A focus on safety and a strong work ethic
- Experience operating and maintaining Heavy Equipment
- A strong mechanical aptitude
- A valid driver's license
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and rigorous physical activity in all weather conditions
Nice To Haves
- A background in quarry operations is preferred
- Proficiency in fabrication and welding is preferred
