About The Position
An established Pan-African real estate and development group is seeking an experienced South African Quantity Surveyor with strong Project Management experience to oversee the development of luxury eco-lodges in Kenya for a 2 year contract. This is a unique opportunity to combine your commercial expertise with hands-on project leadership while working on a high-profile hospitality project in one of Africa's most breathtaking destinations.
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying
- Proven experience in construction project management
- Strong commercial acumen and contract management skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across complex projects
- Willingness to travel and work on-site in Kenya
Nice To Haves
- Hospitality, lodge, resort, or large-scale property development experience highly advantageous
Responsibilities
- Full Quantity Surveying functions from project inception to completion
- Cost planning, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration
- Project management and coordination of contractors, consultants, and suppliers
- Monitoring project schedules, quality standards, and financial performance
- Site visits and stakeholder management
- Risk management and reporting to senior leadership
