Requirements
Verbal and written communication, including active listening for determining stakeholder’s needs, communicating them to the construction crew and preparing reports.
Mathematics for calculating material quantities and construction costs.
Customer service
Analytical thinking and problem-solving.
Dispute resolution
Understanding of engineering science, construction, and technology
Understanding of current building, health, and safety regulations
Computer literacy and confidence using office and electronic project management programs.

Prior experience in a manufacturing sector is preferred.

Responsibilities
Calculate material quantities and costs, labor costs and an achievable project timeframe.
Analyze cost for tenders and prepare valuation of works.
Negotiating labor contracts and schedules
Engage stakeholders on their requests.
Monitoring subcontractors, safety practices, construction progress and material needs, including any changes which may impact costs.
Monitor and control scope changes and analyze the effect of scope changes.
