About The Position

Room to Read, on behalf of the ShiftEd Alliance, seeks an experienced Quantitative Psychometric Consultant to support validation of the Adolescent Gender Norms Assessment Tool (AGNAT). The tool is designed to measure changes in gender norms and stereotypes among adolescents across diverse cultural and linguistic contexts. The broader study is expected to include more than 12,000 students from multiple countries. Deliverables include psychometric analyses; scoring and scaling recommendations; measurement invariance findings; a consolidated technical report; documented, reproducible R code; and supporting materials for future analyses, including a decision tree. The consultant will present findings and recommendations to technical and nontechnical stakeholders. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available. All personnel must adhere to Room to Read’s Child Protection Policy, Child Protection Code of Conduct, and Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) Policy.
