About The Position

SEKISUI Aerospace is hiring a full-time Quality Technician at its Orange City, Iowa location. The technician measures and inspects parts using calibrated gauges, visual inspection, load test equipment, and automated coordinate-measuring machines such as a FARO arm and CMM Bridge. The role supports inspection and testing across production, quality improvement, CMM program validation, documentation, and product development.

Responsibilities

• Perform and record inspections and tests of in-process or final parts and processes throughout the production facility using gauges, calipers, and other measuring and visual tools.
• Participate in the company Zero Defects program, including developing solutions to process issues that create scrap, MRB, or rework.
• Validate CMM programs; troubleshoot and analyze rejects or failures; and generate documentation pertaining to AS9100 requirements.
• Support QE by helping develop, coordinate, and deploy work instructions and procedures, in-process inspection plans, and associated process controls for assigned product lines.
• Advise team members about potential quality needs during development of new products.
• Perform FAI inspections in the facility or inspection department for manufactured or purchased components.
