About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is hiring for a Mid-Level or Senior Quality Systems Specialist (Level 3 or 4) to join the Operations division located in Smithfield, PA. This role administers Quality Management System (QMS) documentation, overseeing the routing of QMS documents for review, approval, retention, and archive. It also involves compliance oversight and maintenance of process management procedures, updating/restructuring Word versions of process documents, and maintaining the electronic document system. Additionally, this role is responsible for the administrative elements of the training procedure to ensure compliance and performance. This includes overseeing the management and storage of the Structured On-The-Job (S-OJT) program, Individual Learning Plans (ILP), and associated training documents. The role will also develop or support the development of the training program, related courseware, and the scheduling and delivery of training. Support is provided to the Site Quality Leader with actions involving improvements to business and production processes and documentation. The specialist prepares and maintains Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures, and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards, and working agreements are deployed. They analyze process data, metrics, models, and flows to identify root causes of problems and participate with stakeholders to develop potential preventive or corrective actions and implementation. The role also involves conducting research and compiling/analyzing performance reports and process control statistics to continuously improve process capability. This position works under general direction.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • 3+ years of experience working with process documentation
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
