Boeing Defense, Space & Security’s (BDS) Vertical Lift Mission Assurance Organization is seeking a Senior System Safety Engineer to join our System Safety Engineering Team in Ridley Park, PA supporting the Cargo, Utility, and Tiltrotor Programs. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mid-Level (Level 3) or Senior (Level 4) System Safety Engineers. The Cargo, Utility, and Tiltrotor Programs is looking for a Senior System Safety Engineer that can assess hazards across a broad range of Subsystems including Airframes, Electrical, Mechanical and Software. The ideal candidate will have System Safety experience, rotorcraft safety experience (ARP 4761 and MIL STD 882E), and/or H-47, MH-139, and V-22 platform knowledge. Military and maritime experience is a plus along with strong technical writing and communication skills. At Boeing, Safety is at the core of everything we do. As a Senior System Safety Engineer, you will work across the entire program lifecycle, from conceptual development into design and test, production, and sustainment of fielded aircraft for both USG and International customers. We are looking for candidates that can ask tough questions, challenge conventional thinking, and identify potential hazards to our aircraft and crew.
