About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is hiring for a Mid-Level or Senior Quality Systems Specialist (Level 3 or 4) to join the Operations division located in Smithfield, PA. This role administers Quality Management System (QMS) documentation, overseeing the routing of QMS documents for review, approval, retention, and archive. It also involves compliance oversight and maintenance of process management procedures, updating/restructuring Word versions of process documents, and maintaining the electronic document system. Additionally, this role is responsible for training administration, managing and storing the Structured On-The-Job (S-OJT) program, Individual Learning Plans (ILP), and other associated training documents. It will also develop and/or support the development of the training program and related courseware, scheduling, and delivery of training. The specialist will support the Site Quality Leader with actions involving improvements to business and production processes and documentation. This role prepares and maintains Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures, and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards, and working agreements are deployed. It analyzes process data, metrics, models, and flows to identify root causes of problems and participates with stakeholders to develop potential preventive or corrective actions and implementation. The specialist conducts research, compiles, and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics to continuously improve process capability. The role operates under general direction.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • 3+ years of experience working with process documentation
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
