About The Position

Clarke is seeking a Quality Specialist to ensure products, processes, and documentation comply with ISO 9001 standards. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized, and hands-on individual who is eager to make a behind-the-scenes impact. Clarke is a global public health company dedicated to environmentally responsible solutions for communities. This position involves travel between Clarke's Roselle and Schaumburg facilities to inspect incoming goods, production batches, and export shipments, ensuring consistent quality. The specialist will support document control, including creation, updating, and maintenance of controlled documents. Collaboration with various business teams is key for supporting ISO audits, investigations, corrective actions, label reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role also includes supporting internal and external ISO 9001 audits, GLP quality assurance activities, customer complaint investigations, and digital transformation efforts to enhance workflow efficiency. Promoting safe and compliant work practices is also a responsibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and/or 3+ years' experience in a detail-oriented role where accuracy matters.
  • Quality assurance experience, ideally in manufacturing, warehouse, or laboratory-related environments.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work well with cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable balancing hands-on inspections, documentation, and follow-up tasks.
  • Strong observation skills, sound judgment, and a practical problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse or operations environment, including standing or sitting for extended periods and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Access to reliable transportation and comfort traveling to multiple work sites within the workday.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with others.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to Clarke worksites to inspect incoming goods, production batches and export shipments to help ensure consistent quality.
  • Support document control activities, including creating, updating, issuing, and maintaining controlled documents.
  • Partner with teams across the business to support ISO audits, process/product investigations, corrective actions, label reviews and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Support internal and external ISO 9001 audits and support GLP quality assurance activities.
  • Assist with customer complaint investigations and help track issues through resolution.
  • Support digital transformation activities as we look to make workflows more efficient.
  • Promote safe, compliant work practices while supporting quality standards across operations.
