Quality & Reliability Manager

Aligned Data Centers•Remote - Oklahoma, OK

About The Position

The Quality & Reliability Manager enforces the project’s QA/QC policy and defines standards for acceptable installations, including requirements for torque patterns, pipe cleanliness, and cable dressing. The role provides day-to-day direction for third-party mechanical and electrical QA specialists, including task assignment, prioritization, coverage planning, and calibration to the Built to Run standard. It reviews field reports, translates findings into corrective and preventive actions, and documents performance feedback and escalations through vendors rather than directly supervising vendor employees. The manager identifies systemic quality patterns, quantifies risk, and leads structured root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for repeat failures. As the Level 3-to-Level 4 gatekeeper, the role independently validates readiness criteria and signs readiness memos confirming that rooms and systems are physically complete, clean, accessible, serviceable, and correctly documented. The manager coordinates open items with Construction, Vendors, and Commissioning so functional testing does not begin until quality risks are understood and accepted. The role ensures equipment and ancillary systems—including strainers, valves, filters, VRFs, and electrical panels—are accessible and serviceable. Additional work includes supporting BMS issue resolution; QA/QC and commissioning for speculative builds and ADC specifications and tenant requirements; negotiating standard vendor pricing; developing standardized reporting metrics for internal stakeholders; reviewing policies and procedures annually for version control; organizing the ADC runbook workflow; collaborating across teams; and performing other assigned duties. The position requires up to 20% travel and the ability to work flexible hours as needed because the facility is secured 24/7. The work environment includes frequent standing, continual walking, frequent sitting and talking or hearing, and occasional exposure to non-weather wet or humid conditions. The employer states that reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
