About The Position

The Senior Technician on the TQR team collects, analyzes, and verifies data from reliability tools to ensure the quality and reliability of Samsung Austin Semiconductor products. The role also oversees preventive maintenance and minor repair activities in the TQR Lab. Work is performed outside a clean room, with occasional clean room access to pick up or drop off wafers. The position requires manually moving 300mm FOSBs containing 25 wafers, operating proprietary software for evaluations, and summarizing data using Excel and PowerPoint. Strong attention to detail and accountability for errors are required.

Requirements

• Associate degree or related technical certification.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing facilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accountability for errors.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and verify data from various reliability tools.
• Operate wafer-level DC test tools and package-level electromigration test tools for reliability evaluations.
• Oversee tool preventive maintenance and minor repair activities within the TQR Lab.
• Develop preventive maintenance procedures and arrange preventive maintenance and repairs with vendors.
• Manually move 300mm FOSBs containing 25 wafers.
• Run evaluations using proprietary software and summarize data using Excel and PowerPoint.
• Access the clean room occasionally to pick up or drop off wafers.
