About The Position

The Quality Program Director - THPG role is responsible for the overall project management of THPG quality strategic initiatives. This role executes deployment strategies to achieve identified value realization and alignment with channel and system-wide strategies. The position presents a comprehensive view of the organization's quality outcomes profile, process and outcome trends, and the effectiveness of design strategies, working directly with entity quality directors to improve outcomes. The Quality Program Director must be able to view quality from a strategic and data-driven perspective, encompassing all potential touch points and stakeholders within and external to THPG. This role performs in-depth analysis of THPG quality-related programs and initiatives, including budget creation and ROI for each program, and provides oversight of operational execution to enhance profitability and efficiency of quality-related initiatives for THPG. The Director monitors budget, timeline, and scope adherence of major initiatives and escalates any variances to leadership. They use a data-driven approach, along with input from key stakeholders, to determine measures of project goals and success. This role identifies and develops tools and analytics for ongoing measurement and rapid cycle change, as well as a sustainability plan. The Quality Program Director is responsible for project management duties, requiring a thorough understanding of and adherence to project management principles, and may perform project tasks as required by the project plan, identifying and managing project dependencies and critical paths. They set and continually manage expectations with team members and other stakeholders, delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel, and identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team in collaboration with their manager. The role assists in the development, maintenance, and archival of documentation for all initiatives from start through continued improvement and maintenance as each quality initiative grows and is enhanced. The Director is responsible for the development and documentation of project risks, issues, assumptions, and scope, identifies and proposes project resourcing, and keeps stakeholders updated with status reports. They design the approach, planning, and identification of sequencing resources, training, education, and consistent communications throughout the organization. The Quality Program Director develops project plans encompassing operational, business intelligence, and IT-related tasks. They conduct post-project reviews and create recommendations reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. This role assists the CMO, Senior Director of Quality Outcomes, and other leaders in understanding, researching, and incorporating background knowledge for ongoing THPG quality initiatives and strategies. They assist operational leaders to continuously improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of internal operations in the system-level quality department, as well as in relation to external stakeholders. The Quality Program Director helps with the creation of documentation and presentation material for committee or board-level presentations and assists with the identification, creation, and submission of conference abstracts, academic publications, and presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree Project Manager and/or health related field Req
• 3 Years Healthcare quality improvement with proven experience leading inter-professional teams and complex organizations to successful outcomes. Req
• 2 Years Progressive experience in healthcare leadership Req
• Experience with implementing quality improvement programs that are proactive, progressive and have shown validated successful outcomes and value creation. Req
• Understanding and experience with operational, IT and data analytics based performance improvement projects. Pref

Responsibilities
