This role collaborates with organization-wide cross-functional teams in planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining improvement plans. The Quality Data Analyst will support THPG in the assessment, development, and planning to ensure data supports performance objectives. This position involves running/developing reports utilizing discrete data and conducting analysis for the purpose of measuring and identifying trends/patterns that represent opportunities for improvement and increase operational efficiency. The analyst will understand the various and complex data sources and interfaces that perform transactions between applications (PRIME Dashboard, THPQ Quality Dashboard, and CC1). They will maintain data for monthly/quarterly/yearly statistics and reports for leadership, develop auditing tools and definitions for consistent collection of data for accurate reporting, and obtain and use benchmark data from internal and external sources to identify opportunities for improvement of clinical outcomes, patient safety outcomes, and track progress towards performance goals. The role also involves providing direction and oversight in the creation, dissemination, and analysis of regular reports of outcome data and measures including progress towards goals. Additionally, the analyst will be responsible for the ongoing development of initiatives to provide education and awareness to leadership regarding incentive measures, dashboard utilization/functionality, and changes or updates to THPG quality measures and performance. They will collaborate and conduct sessions with APPs and physicians to provide coaching on dashboards, lead Epic HCC Dashboard education for new Primary Care APPs, and provide dashboard education with Practice Managers and Directors with in-depth walkthroughs of best practices, workflows, quality measures, and access troubleshooting. The analyst will track and trend provider performance and provide reports to leadership, collaborate with THPG ITS to review dashboards, ad-hoc reports, and statistical reporting to support enterprise-wide performance, and take appropriate action to improve operations based on patterns and trends. They will provide prompt customer service with internal and external customers, develop presentations and present trends, including physician-focused meetings, and make recommendations on process improvements based on research of industry best practices. The role includes managing process improvement initiatives, documenting requirements and working with associated business units to deliver. The analyst will assist in building relationships and responses to internal and external customers and maintain relationships with outside vendors to stay abreast of current and future initiatives that benefit quality improvement and potential cost savings for the organization. They will make recommendations to leadership and assist in implementation and providing feedback. Finally, the analyst will provide ongoing support with dashboards for internal customers, ensure proper access is granted, assist with troubleshooting issues and escalate to SWHR Data Analytics when needed, and maintain open access issues to ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
