About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Multi-Family Manager to support operations in Huntsville, AL! We are hiring two Quality managers to support B and C shift operations. Candidates scheduled on B shift will work Monday-Thursday 4:30PM-3:00AM. Candidates schedule for C shift will work Friday-Sunday 6:00AM-6:30PM. The PAC-3 Manager will manage teams that directly support Production, Sustainment and Development activities. This position requires strong leadership and people skills, the ability to problem solve, proactively identify issues, and develop and communicate action plans.

Requirements

5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing, assembly and/or aerospace environment
3+ years working in Quality
3+ years of experience with continuous process improvement initiatives
Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Excellent Written, Verbal, and Presentation Skills
Experience developing presentations for and presenting to executive leadership
Engaged experience participating in program reviews (PDR, CDR, Flight Test)
Solid working knowledge of Quality Tools (APQP, Early Quality Involvement, RCCA)
Performing Surveillance and Compliance Audits
Direct experience performing in quality engineering, manufacturing operations, project management, system engineering, or change management
Experience building internal and external customer relationships
Direct engagement in strategy development

Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.
Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.
