About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: Project Based QC Manager responsible to plan, direct, supervise, and implement project quality control activities in compliance with applicable company standards and programs.

Requirements

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent combinations of technical training and experience.
• 4+ years of related/ applicable experience in quality control
• Thorough working knowledge of regulatory agency quality assurance/quality control activities.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills required.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and strong interpersonal skills are requisite.
• Ability to work independently or as a member of a team.
• Strong work ethic to complete tasks in a high-quality manner.
• Solid attention to detail with the ability to be a problem solver.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality control procedures (work controlling documents) and review other department procedures for compliance and/or correctness.
• Prepare, obtain approval, issue and implement company quality control (assurance) program manual in compliance with owner contract and company requirements.
• As required by quality control program manual, perform activities such as audits, preparation of quality problems, etc.
• Provide administrative and technical direction to all quality control personnel
• Act as liaison with owner, regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and/or internal departments on quality related matters as required.
• Ensure company standards as outlined in quality control (assurance) manual are effectively implemented.
• Insure adequate corrective measures are implemented in case on noncompliance.
• Assist in preparation of responses to RFQ’s and RFP’s regarding QA and QC programs.
• Perform internal/external audits to ensure quality control requirements are implemented and/or maintained.
