About The Position

This is a 12-month development program designed to provide participants with hands-on quality experiences, project management skills, and formal training to learn business operations and develop leadership capabilities. The program involves leading and supporting quality improvement projects in collaboration with quality leadership and cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence. Participants will work in a team environment to identify quality concerns, develop corrective actions, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. The role also includes assisting in investigating quality issues, conducting root cause analyses, and recommending corrective and preventive actions. Support for audits, inspections, and compliance activities is expected, along with monitoring quality metrics and key performance indicators to enhance quality and operational efficiency. Building strong relationships with stakeholders to meet quality requirements and customer expectations is crucial. The program offers FDA regulatory and Quality systems support, ensuring compliance with company quality policies, industry standards, regulatory requirements, and government regulations. A key aspect is promoting a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement, and collaborating with various departments to drive sustainable quality improvements and resolve process-related issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering required
  • 1-2 years’ work experience, including internships in designated degree areas required
  • Demonstrated leadership in campus activities, clubs, sports, or community
  • Be innovative, flexible, committed, ambitious and determined
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for data analysis, quality reporting, documentation management, presentations, and communication of quality metrics and improvement initiatives
  • Model high standards of honesty and integrity
  • Maintain a track record of exceeding goals successfully
  • Ensure accountability through excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Contribute to a positive work environment where differences are valued and supported

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality management system processes a plus
  • Knowledge of 21CFR part 213 is desirable
  • Have a positive attitude, be willing to quickly adapt to changing situations, have strong communications skills
