Join Cascades Tissue Group as a Quality Lead in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and help build a more sustainable future. As the Quality Lead, you will serve as the senior quality professional for our fully integrated tissue manufacturing operation in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. This facility operates two paper machines and seven converting lines producing high-quality napkins, paper towels, and bath tissue for leading retail and consumer product brands.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Chemistry, Manufacturing, Food Science, Paper Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive quality experience within manufacturing.
  • Experience within tissue, paper, converting, consumer packaged goods, packaging, food, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Experience leading customer audits, compliance initiatives, and quality improvement projects.
  • Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience supporting customer-facing quality programs and major retail customers.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, and statistical analysis tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Quality certifications such as ASQ CQE, CQA, or Lean Six Sigma certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and maintain the site's Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Promote a culture of quality ownership and accountability across all departments.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and training to operations teams on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Develop and monitor quality KPIs, reporting performance trends and improvement opportunities to site leadership.
  • Lead investigations related to customer complaints and quality concerns.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Prepare for and lead customer, regulatory, certification, and corporate quality audits.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory, food safety, hygiene, and customer requirements.
  • Support new product development, trials, and commercialization activities.
  • Ensure new products meet customer specifications, quality requirements, and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Oversee quality testing programs and laboratory activities.
  • Ensure testing methods, equipment calibration, and sampling processes are effective and compliant.
