About The Position

Ryder is hiring a daytime warehouse team lead in Franklin, Indiana. The position is described as responsible for setting up, operating, and reconciling assigned production assembly lines. The lead ensures the correct customer product is on the line, trains line workers to assemble components and pack products according to documented work instructions and quality requirements, and ensures units and pallets are packed correctly. The role pays $23.00 per hour, with overtime pay of $34.50 per hour, and pays weekly. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Products handled are HVAC products. Equipment includes a computer and RF scanner. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to multitask and work within multiple systems at the same time.
Ability to react positively to change and handle additional tasks as required.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

One or more years performing simple mathematical calculations.
One or more years operating a computer and hand-held scanner.
One or more years of previous Team Lead experience.
One or more years of previous production experience.
Bilingual ability.
Advanced proficiency, knowledge, and/or experience with production assembly lines.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and reconcile assigned production assembly lines.
Ensure the correct customer product is on the line.
Train line workers to assemble components and pack products according to documented work instructions and quality requirements.
Ensure units and pallets are packed correctly.
Perform other duties as assigned.
