Night Shift Quality Inspector
About The Position
Med-Mizer is a leading manufacturer of hospital beds, specialty seating, and safe patient-handling solutions. We are seeking a hands-on, detail-driven Quality Inspector to help drive quality standards on the production floor and ensure our products consistently meet internal and customer expectations. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (medical device experience preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and weld callouts.
- Proficient in using various measurement tools (calipers, tape measures, gauges, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities
- Perform in-process and final inspections throughout the production floor.
- Record and maintain accurate quality data and inspection results.
- Identify, communicate, and help address quality issues in real-time with production teams.
- Monitor and report quality trends; escalate concerns as needed.
- Conduct internal audits of processes, materials, and finished goods.
- Support and maintain quality systems, procedures, and documentation.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and leadership teams to improve product quality and consistency.
- Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement on the production floor.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
