About The Position

Flex is hiring a Quality Control Inspector for its Buffalo Grove, Illinois location. The role supports manufacturing teams by inspecting electronic cards, sub-assemblies, systems, and units to verify product reliability and workmanship against established specifications. The inspector uses manufacturing aids and inspection tools, records quality data, identifies defects and process issues, provides feedback to manufacturing, and helps manage non-conforming materials and products. Requirements

Responsibilities

Visually inspect electronic cards, sub-assemblies, systems, and units to ensure they meet established reliability and workmanship specifications.
Use gages, templates, microscopes, and other manufacturing aids during inspections.
Verify that all required process operations have been performed on the product being inspected.
Enter quality data into the appropriate electronic or manual systems.
Notify appropriate personnel about unusual product defects or processes that fall below acceptable levels.
Provide timely feedback to manufacturing when non-conforming product is identified.
Complete administrative activities associated with quality inspection accurately.
Perform process audits and assist manufacturing with interpreting quality and workmanship standards.
Assist with the disposition of non-conforming materials and products.
