About The Position

Inspect products and processes at various stages of production to ensure that procedures are followed, and specification requirements are met. This role involves inspecting and testing products to ensure adherence to established standards of strength, quality, measurements, and endurance. The inspector will document inspection results, ensure non-conforming material is handled according to procedure, and report any deviations to quality leadership. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Overtime may be required.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings required
• Ability to use measurement devices such as calipers, micrometers, inspection gauges and other measuring tools.
• Working knowledge of the metric system.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word and MS Excel specifically)
• High school diploma or GED
• 1 – 2 years of quality inspection experience
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend.
• Use finger and hands to inspect product.
• Repetitive lifting of a 1 lb. product is required throughout the shift.
• Lift or lower bins with an average weight of 40 lbs. but could weigh as much as of 70 lbs.
• Personal safety protective equipment is required.

Nice To Haves

• CNC or CMM experience preferred
• 2 – 3 years of manufacturing/machine operation experience or equivalent industry preferred

• Informs quality leadership the results of priority inspections.

• Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Work overtime, as needed.
