Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Proficiency in software applications required in the performance of job duties (MS Word, MS Excel).
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with customer personnel and employees at all organizational levels and develop effective working relationships with staff and a network of technical resources.
  • Individual must be able to exercise sound judgment, have problem solving skills, be able to plan, be well organized, have good oral and written communication skills, work well under pressure, take initiative, and be flexible and cooperative.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience and exposure to ISO and/or IATF
  • Secondary/vocational training relating to manufacturing/quality
  • 3+ years in Quality related role in a Manufacturing Environment

Responsibilities

  • Inspects finished products, products being processed, incoming materials, parts and assemblies, etc., for conformance to standards.
  • Lead problem solving and root cause analysis and its documentation for both internal and external issues
  • Lead preventative and corrective action development
  • Support engineering efforts by participating in design development projects representing quality assurance
  • Report on quality issues, trends and losses.
  • Checks randomly selected samples and verifies accuracy of equipment or process.
  • Use advanced inspection methods to develop and conduct quality programs.
  • Create, update and review quality system documentation.
  • Ensure documented processes are being followed throughout the plant.
  • Assist with customer complaint investigation and resolution.
  • Assist in the training of operators to ensure customer compliance and satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
