About The Position

Allpro Staffing & Consulting is hiring experienced, BSN-prepared Registered Nurses for a government-supported healthcare initiative focused on improving quality of care in long-term care and nursing home facilities across Long Island, New York. This per diem contract opportunity offers flexible scheduling and a consulting-style environment without traditional bedside assignment pressure. Full training is provided.

The role involves assessing resident care, identifying compliance concerns and improvement opportunities, collaborating with facility leaders and interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and supporting quality improvement and corrective action initiatives. The consultant provides recommendations to strengthen care delivery and operations and helps facilities maintain high standards of patient care.

Requirements

• Active New York State RN license.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience.

Nice To Haves

• Long-term care or nursing home experience.
• Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing (DON) background.
• Quality Improvement (QI), compliance, or survey experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently at multiple facilities.

Responsibilities
