About The Position

Allpro Staffing & Consulting is hiring experienced, BSN-prepared Registered Nurses for a government-supported healthcare initiative focused on improving care quality in long-term care and nursing home facilities across Long Island, New York. This per diem contract opportunity offers flexible scheduling, competitive compensation, full training, and a professional consulting-style environment without traditional bedside assignment pressure. The consultant evaluates resident care, identifies compliance concerns and improvement opportunities, collaborates with facility teams and leadership, and supports quality improvement efforts to strengthen resident care and facility outcomes.

Requirements

• Active New York State RN license.
• BSN degree.
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience.
• Long-term care or nursing home experience.

Nice To Haves

• Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing (DON) background.
• Quality Improvement (QI), compliance, or survey experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently at multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate resident care using structured assessment tools.
• Identify compliance concerns and areas needing improvement.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and facility leadership.
• Assist with quality improvement and corrective action initiatives.
• Provide recommendations to strengthen care delivery and operations.
• Support facilities in maintaining high standards of patient care.
