About The Position

The Quality Engineer (QMS) is responsible for building, scaling, and sustaining CoreWeave’s Quality Management System across data center operations. This role drives standardization, compliance, and continuous improvement through integrated quality processes, systems, and cross-functional execution, enabling a scalable, ISO-aligned, preventive quality model to support rapid infrastructure growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data center operations, quality management system, and industry standards. In this role, you will design, implement, and scale a robust, ISO-aligned Quality Management System (QMS) across data center operations, standardize quality processes, SOPs, and governance frameworks, and drive a shift to preventive, systems-based quality. You will implement and maintain automated, digital QMS workflows using tools like ETQ or Arena to manage audits, CAPA, document control, and training while prioritizing data integrity and scalable growth, establish and manage document control systems, develop and deploy training programs, and ensure all documentation is audit-ready and aligned with ISO standards and compliance requirements. You will also lead and execute internal audit programs across incoming quality, commissioning, and operations, support external audits and certification readiness, identify gaps, drive corrective actions, participate in root cause analysis and CAPA activities, govern and standardize CAPA processes, drive systemic improvements across sites, develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting, and partner cross-functionally with DC Ops, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program Management to integrate quality principles throughout the hardware lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field; or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 3+ years in a quality role in data center, electronics manufacturing, or hardware operations environments.
  • Deep functional knowledge of QMS frameworks and ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001) including document control, nonconformance management, and change control.
  • Demonstrated ability to govern compliance and quality processes within rapid-growth, high-complexity operational environments.
  • Hands-on experience with digital QMS platforms such as ETQ, Arena, or comparable systems.
  • Tools-savvy: proficiency with ERP, ticketing, and QMS software; adept in spreadsheets and dashboarding; able to build repeatable reporting from raw operational data.
  • Experience with high-performance compute hardware (GPUs, servers, racks, power/cooling interfaces) and large-scale data center environments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced onsite environment at a data center or manufacturing floor.
  • Curiosity about applying skills in the high-performance compute data center industry.
  • Expertise in solving problems in collaboration with others.
  • Must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or eligible to access export controlled information without a required export authorization, or eligible and reasonably likely to obtain the required export authorization.
