About The Position

The Boeing Company is seeking a Mid Level Supplier Quality Engineer to work in Boeing Global Services located in Hazelwood, MO. This Supplier Quality Engineer will support BGS F-15 Sustainment Programs. Supplier Quality engineers support all phases of the development life-cycle for hardware including the supply base from inception to post-delivery.

Requirements

5+ years of Quality experience
5+ years of experience reading, understanding, and interpreting Engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)
5+ years of experience working/partnering with engineers, product owners, and leadership

Nice To Haves

5+ years of experience in Supplier Quality processes
Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry, or other technical degree
Experience with AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS)
Experience with First Article Inspections (i.e. AS9102)
Experience with Early Quality Involvement (EQI)

Responsibilities

Represents Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.
Provides Quality interpretation of requirements.
Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for small programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.
Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities.
Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
Performs analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances.
Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
Recommends corrective actions to address non-conformances.
Performs benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.
