About The Position

Infintium Fuel Cell Systems, Inc. is developing next-generation small and medium fuel cell systems for industrial vehicles in the Greenville, SC area. As we are a small team, the candidate must be capable of setting and meeting goals reliably, with limited oversight. While the system development and initial manufacturing environments are currently in place, the candidate will have the opportunity to guide the quality verification process and ultimately have a significant influence on the company’s profitability – we’re a small group that all have a large influence on our success!

Requirements

  • B.S in Engineering or Technical Field.
  • 2+ years of experience in the Quality field (automotive background is a plus).
  • 2+ years of experience in ISO 9001:2015 (IATF 16949-2016 is a plus).
  • At least 2 years’ experience in developing and conducting LPA Audits.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in internal process- product audits.
  • Good problem – solving abilities using systemic, logical, and sequential approaches.
  • Experience with APQP process.
  • Experience working with R&D for development, launch , and product improvement.
  • Strong computer skills with an aptitude for Excel, Word, or other statistical software.
  • 2+ years managing quality technicians or QC inspectors.
  • Good team player.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the investigation, identification, and implementation of root cause failure analysis and corrective action of all returned customer products.
  • Proactively identify potential product quality issues.
  • Administer and lead the company's cross-functional Quality Triangle.
  • Ensure product design meets or exceeds Infintium product quality standards
  • Partner with Operations management, Manufacturing, and Engineering organizations to integrate new/improved products or processes into the existing manufacturing site.
  • Develop and implement quality standards and procedures.
  • Provide weekly standard quality reports
  • Develop inspection plans for complex machined and molded components.
  • Participate in failure investigations encountered during the New Product Development and lead investigations for current products.
  • Co-write and/or review test protocols for the validation of new/changed equipment, processes, and test methods.
  • Collaborate with suppliers on quality issues.
  • Plan and implement projects to reduce manufacturing costs, improve processes, increase product quality and reliability, and enhance process capability.
  • Support the gathering of product-related Quality Metrics and reports.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.
