Quality Engineer Trainee

About The Position

This role provides Quality Engineering (QE) support to Prime Customers, focusing on first articles and corrective actions. The position involves reviewing contracts, specifications, purchase orders, and planning. Responsibilities include planning and implementing quality initiatives across the organization, managing and tracking Material Review Board (MRB) and Return Material Authorizations (RMA), and performing internal and external audits. The role also requires participation in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations and assisting with supplier quality support and development. Additionally, the trainee will implement and manage Quality Management System (QMS) software.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Material or Manufacturing Engineering or related field
  • Self-starter, motivated and resourceful
  • Detail oriented
  • Good work ethic
  • Able to communicate with all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing
  • Positive attitude and a desire to learn
  • Must be either a US citizen, lawful permanent resident [“green card” holders] or have refugee or asylee status due to ITAR and EAR compliance.
