About The Position

The Space organization in Sunnyvale, CA has an entry level Quality Engineer opportunity to work within the THAAD Program Quality organization. THAAD has a consistent record of stability with highly evolving technical requirements that drives changes on a regular basis. A significant number of future leaders have been developed with a wide variety of engagement programs and relevant work to develop individual potential. This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Master's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Ability to develop Tableau dashboards and conduct analysis
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and basic computer skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance required
  • US Citizenship required

  • Secret clearance

Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis on assembly, process, test, mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical quality records to validate data accuracy, acceptability and completeness.
  • Develop and coordinate Quality metrics reports and presentation packages.
  • Maintain and support Quality records.
  • Develop Tableau Dashboards and conduct NC trend analysis.
  • Ongoing documentation of all discrepancies and engagement with engineering and manufacturing to disposition non-conformances.
  • Develop and provide recommendations to resolve discrepancies and corrective action for recurring nonconformances.
  • Ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable quality standards.
  • Facilitate presentation packages and engage manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure that program requirements are met.
  • Handle the quality records control process to assure adequate accountability and traceability.
  • Develop, write and implement procedures applicable to records organization.
  • Support all Quality Assurance processes in accordance with program quality assurance plans, company policies, and procedures.
