About The Position

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Software Engineer. In this role, you will develop software for avionics, vehicle/mission systems, and simulations. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of C and C++, Agile Software Development processes, and experience with software/hardware integration. Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Lockheed Martin is an equal opportunity employer. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical or Computer Engineering.
  • Proficient in C and C++
  • Experience with Linux Development Environment
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • This position will require a government security clearance.
  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships and collaborate effectively with others
  • Experience integrating hardware and software
  • Experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, RTP)
  • Experience with Python or other similar scripting languages
  • Experience with version control, e.g. git, gitlab, bitbucket
