About The Position

As a Quality & Damages Lead, you will ensure that all processes and products meet established quality standards. This includes conducting daily inbound and outbound quality audits across various categories to ensure compliance with quality guidelines. This role also ensures accurate identification, documentation, and resolution of product damage.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Experience with or the ability to learn SAP.
  • High energy, versatility, and a positive attitude.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute quality audits, inspections, and testing procedures.
  • Perform inbound, put away, mixed pallet picks audit, staging lane audit, as well as other audits.
  • Mentor damages & quality team members, providing guidance and support.
  • Verify that products are stored and handled correctly, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Lead root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
  • Analyze quality & damages data and prepare/present reports on key metrics, trends, and non-conformities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to quality activities and findings.
  • Lead and coordinate the identification, segregation, and documentation of damaged goods in the warehouse.
  • Investigate all product damage incidents, identifying sources and contributing factors.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Partner with Quality Supervisor and DC Controller to completely timely scrap process.
  • Partner with internal and external customers to secure supplies needed to repackage goods.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to safety, housekeeping, productivity, and quality.
  • Foster a motivated workforce through timely communication, consistency, fairness, and recognition of good work or ideas.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams for process improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, standards, and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
