About The Position

The Quality Control & Order Fulfillment Specialist supports both product quality and customer order execution within the manufacturing and warehouse environment. The role inspects incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods for compliance with internal standards, customer specifications, and applicable requirements, while also processing, picking, packing, shipping, and delivering customer orders accurately and on time. This position helps prevent defects, maintain inventory accuracy, support customer satisfaction, and promote safe, efficient plant operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ year of experience in manufacturing, production, quality inspection, order fulfillment, and/or warehouse preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications, drawings, work instructions, and measuring tools
  • Basic math and measurement skills with strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office; NetSuite experience preferred
  • Inventory, cycle counting, shipping, or receiving experience preferred
  • Current valid driver license required with a clean driving record when operating company vehicles
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Meet daily fulfillment metrics including accuracy, productivity, and on-time shipment targets
  • Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently processed through online platforms
  • Enter and track orders using NetSuite and delivery software; prepare shipping labels, packing slips, and required documentation
  • Label, stage, and coordinate outgoing shipments (UPS, FedEx, LTL, freight carriers)
  • Drive and deliver finished goods using a company vehicle, as assigned
  • Perform cycle counts, assist with inventory audits, verify material, and maintain accurate labeling and inventory organization
  • Monitor inventory and supplies for fulfillment products and alert the supervisor to potential shortages or issues
  • Assist with building/assembling product and support other departments as needed
  • Maintain compliance with quality systems (e.g., ISO standards, if applicable)
  • Perform visual and basic dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to confirm specifications and quality standards are met
  • Observe manufacturing processes and work with production staff to ensure adherence to established protocols, work instructions, and standards
  • Identify defects, communicate inspection results, and report quality concerns, shortages, damages, and discrepancies promptly
  • Approve incoming materials and finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required visual, measurement, or other basic tests
  • Return products for rework when needed, complete required documentation, and sort or segregate defective material for return, replacement, or disposal
  • Maintain accurate quality control records and follow good documentation practices
  • Report quality issues and support root cause investigations related to defects, damages, or customer complaints
