The Quality Control Inspector on the night shift is responsible for monitoring and verifying Critical Control Points (CCPs) to ensure they meet requirements, and for overseeing the proper execution and recording of any corrective actions. This role involves conducting and supporting internal audits to ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Key duties include verifying and monitoring product labeling and changeovers for accuracy, acquiring and collecting various samples (pre-harvest, post-harvest, and environmental) using aseptic techniques, and accurately labeling these samples. The inspector will also enter sample orders into the laboratory portal, ensure proper chain of custody for samples handed to delivery drivers, and perform data entry for validation studies or special projects. Additionally, the role includes monitoring inventory of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other food safety and quality supplies, providing training when necessary, and performing other quality-related tasks or special projects as assigned.
