About The Position

The Quality Control Associate (Outbound) inspects, records, and updates quality attributes for specific Outbound functions. The associate conducts daily audits of processes, people, and work areas in accordance with audit guidelines and UPH expectations. The role works with the QC and Training Lead, the Outbound team, and Training and Development to identify and address knowledge, process, or skill gaps, support training and communication, uphold company brand standards, and foster a culture of learning, improvement, and total quality management.

The role is based in a state-of-the-art, climate-controlled warehouse facility. The expected hourly rate is $18. Starting pay is determined using factors including primary work location, candidate skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity. Depending on the role, employees may also be eligible for bonus or incentive pay.

Requirements

• Proven track record of auditing, QC metrics, and return rate metrics.
• Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the functional areas to be audited.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize daily tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to work quickly and effectively with very strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Google Forms, Sheets, and pivot tables.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections in accordance with audit guidelines and UPH expectations.
• Complete daily audits of processes, people, and work areas.
• Collaborate with Training and Development to identify and execute training and communication.
• Communicate knowledge, process, and skill gaps identified through inspections.
• Uphold and maintain company brand standards.
• Collaborate with the QC and Training Lead and the Outbound team.
• Help develop a positive culture of learning, improvement, and total quality management.
