About The Position

Work in collaboration with the US Quality & CI Managers to: Assist Q&CI Manager with tracking corrective actions and investigation statuses. Assists in the documentation and revision of the QMS system and maintains recordkeeping as required. Assist with continuous improvement efforts at the facility with the goals of reducing operating cost and enhancing business and production efficiency, product reliability and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be enrolled in an Engineering, Chemistry or Technical field or equivalent combination at a post-secondary education institution.
• Good working knowledge of all MS Office applications and internet applications.
• Must possess a strong work ethic, be willing to learn and have a desire to succeed.
• Ability to work under moderate supervision and use own initiative.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization, including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work effectively.
• Perform all aspects of the position according to the PCC Code of Conduct and SOX guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with continuous improvement efforts at the facility with the goals of reducing operating cost and enhancing business and production efficiency, product reliability and customer satisfaction.
• Adheres to plant and department safety rules, safely operate all equipment and tools, identifies and reports safety problems.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
• Provide new hire orientation for quality at the site.
• Participate in the internal audit process and train to become an internal auditor.
• Data gathering, analysis and interpretation.
• Performs all aspects of the position according to the PCC Code of Conduct and SOX guidelines.
